Programme Overview
SWIT is running a 7-month deep-tech accelerator designed for research spin-outs and startups that already have a proof-of-concept or prototype. The program helps these innovators sharpen their product-market fit, secure pilot projects, and prepare for investment.
The accelerator has two phases:
- Pre-Accelerator (4 months: Nov ’25 – Feb ’26): For ~40 startups to validate problem-solution fit, secure pilot commitments, and refine their proposition.
- Accelerator (3 months: Mar – May ’26): Top ~10 ventures get further mentoring, execute pilots with partners (including Odu’a subsidiaries), and aim to raise follow-on funding.
Who Can Apply / Requirements
- Ventures that are research-driven or science-based (engineering, life sciences, agritech, climate/energy, frontier tech)
- Must have a proof of concept or working prototype, or be pilot-ready within 6-12 months
- Teams with strong technical expertise and commitment
- Preference for ventures with connection to Southwest Nigeria (co-founder origin or operating base)

- Investment of US$50,000 equity funding for top selected ventures during the Accelerator phase
